Glacier Excitement: Snowmobile & Zodiac Boat
On this exciting combo tour, you will be able to experience the wonders of Vatnajökull National Park. Vatnajökull National park is the perfect place to experience exciting tours on and around Vatnajökull Glacier. This tour will allow you to go on a snowmobile tour on Europe’s largest glacier as well as take you on a breathtaking sail amongst the icebergs of Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.
- If you book the 09:30 AM Combo Tour you will be booked at 09:30 AM on the Snowmobile tour with Glacier Jeeps and 15:25 PM on the Zodiac Boat at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.
- If you book the 10:00 AM Combo Tour, you will be booked on the 10:00AM on the Zodiac Boat at at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and 14:00 on the Snowmobile tour with Glacier Jeeps.

Snowmobile
Snowmobiling on Vatnajökull Glacier is an extraordinary experience and an adventure not to be missed! This tour is the perfect length for ‘first-time riders’ and individuals looking for a scenic, fun ride, suitable for everyone. Explore and experiencing the wilderness of the glacier, and the breathtaking views.
Two people ride on one snowmobile together, to get a single snowmobile you have to pay supplement charge 9.000 ISK. A valid driver‘s license is needed to operate a snowmobile. Passengers do not need to bring the driver´s licenses.
The duration of the tour is approx 3 hours, including preparations. Snowmobile is 1 hour incl. 2 photo stops.
Zodiac Adventure Tour
Embark on a zodiac boat adventure at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, sail amongst icebergs in all shapes and sizes up towards the glacier wall of Breiðarmerkurjökull glacier. If we are lucky we might spots some seals playing around and witness ice breaking off the glacier wall.
Your adventure begins at the Ice Lagoon Truck, where we will welcome you and provide you with flotation suits and lifejackets. After a short bus ride to our dock, our experienced guides will explain the upcoming adventure. We don’t start the clock until the boats depart from the dock, giving you a full 75 minutes on the lagoon. When onboard we will take you up to the glacier wall within a safe distance which is about 8 km ride from our dock, then we sail around huge icebergs in a breathtaking environment, take photographs and enjoy the nature and wildlife.

The tours are led by local and professional guides to give you a safe and unforgettable experience in the breathtaking Vatnajökull region. The tours start in two separate locations, there is around 20 min drive between the two meeting point (25 km ) so make sure to take that into consideration when planning your trip. Please be at the meeting points 20 minutes before departure time.

No matter where you’re going in Iceland, it’s important to choose the right clothing and dress according to weather. We strongly recommend dressing in layers so it is easy to take off or put on layers depending on weather.
