Zodiac Boat Adventure Tour
Embark on a zodiac boat adventure at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagooon, sail amongst icebergs in all shapes and sizes up towards the glacier wall of Breiðarmerkurjökull glacier. If we are lucky we might spots some seals playing around and witness ice breaking off the glacier wall.
Your adventure begins at the Ice Lagoon Truck, where we will welcome you and provide you with flotation suits and lifejackets. After a short bus ride to our dock, our experienced guides will explain the upcoming adventure. We don’t start the clock until the boats depart from the dock, giving you a full 75 minutes on the lagoon. When onboard we will take you up to the glacier wall within a safe distance which is about 8 km ride from our dock, then we sail around huge icebergs in a breathtaking environment, take photographs and enjoy the nature and wildlife. Our passionate guides tells you all about this magical place and answer any questions you may have.

Important note: The total duration of the tour is approx 2 hours, that is 75 minutes on the boat and with all preparations beforehand: dressing up into suits, putting on life vests, 10 min bus ride (to the dock and back to base) and the safety briefing at the dock.

Good to have in mind
You will be provided with flotations suits to keep you warm but we recommend bringing some warm clothes to have underneath on cold days. A warm hat and gloves are also highly encouraged.
