About
Dana is our Ukrainian/Spanish ice queen. She spent many years as a professional skating athlete, including coaching at the same time. After she moved to Iceland, she immediately fell in love with it’s challenging and outstanding nature, especially glaciers. So, she decided to change her skate wheels for crampon spikes. Consequently, she went on AIMG Hard Ice 1 & 2.
In life she tries to keep balance between sharing drinks in some warm terrace after a long ride on skates around the city, and drinking hot tea inside some ice cave after a good glacier hike or ice climbing session. And always keeping in mind that happiness is only real when shared. Dana is very energetic and spontaneous, cheerful and super fun to talk to. Her life motto, at least for guiding, is – “If it’s raining it’s not that cold”.
If Dana were a fruit, she would be a pineapple. Spiky, juicy, and pizza goes perfectly with her!
