About
Haukur is the founder of Glacier Adventure. He grew up in Höfn, a small fishing village on the southeastern coast of Iceland. Haukur Ingi is married to Berglind Steinþórsdóttir, a farmer’s daughter from Hali in Suðursveit, which is located at the roots of Vatnajökull glacier. Haukur and Berglind often stay at Hali with their three children, where they actively participate in various farm duties depending on seasonal change. Haukur is an economist.
