This Extreme Blue Ice Cave tour with Glacier Travel is for nature lovers that want to get into close connection to the nature and experience the ice caves and the glacier in a more adventurous and closer way. The tour is approx. 4.5-6 hours depends very much on travel speed. The tour fits for everybody that are in a normally good shape and we always visit totally the best ice caves in this tour. Sometimes we have more than one cave to visit, it depends on daily ice cave conditions. When we hike we always hike on an enjoyable speed to ensure everybody in the group feels good and enjoys the stunning nature in the area. The tour is excellent for all nature lovers, photographers, outdoor people who love to explore a little bit more and for those who love extreme blue ice. The difficult level in this tour is moderate and people need to dress warmly, in a good hiking shoes because sometimes it can get cold. Our aim is to provide high quality and personal guiding’s in each tour we take, and we put our customers experience and safety in seat number one. It’s important when you travel in Iceland that you meet the local Icelanders and our guides are Icelandic. The tour does not always have the same route. It depends on weather and ice conditions which route we take each day. The tour departs from the Glacier Lagoon (Jökulsárlón) parking lot.

- Glacier Adventure reserves the right to always keep a 5% payment fee to cover costs for the booking & rescheduling.
- If you must reschedule or cancel the booking, please provide us with 24-hour notice. This way we might be able to resell the seats.
- Cancellations received less than 24 hours before tour departure, will not be refunded. This includes bookings made within 24 hours before departure.
- If clients cancel their tour more than 24 hours before departure, a 95% refund will be given.
- “No Shows” will not be refunded if the client is not on time before the tour departure.
- Glacier Adventure reserves the right to cancel your trip with your safety in mind.
- With short notice, the tours can be canceled due to safety reasons or other natural conditions. In such cases, a 100% refund is provided.
Note: We don’t refund if the client is late or doesn’t show up, or if the weather is not good and the tour is still on schedule. We recommend that participants stay in a hotel or guesthouse close to Hali the night before the tour.
