Embark on an exhilarating two-hour ATV tour in the Skaftafell area, where adventure meets stunning natural beauty. Your journey begins as you set off, driving down the winding river beds that weave through the magnificent landscape, surrounded by Iceland’s dramatic scenery.
As you venture deeper into this remarkable terrain, you’ll face the thrill of crossing the glacial river Morsá and giving you a taste of the rugged wilderness that Iceland is renowned for.
Next, you’ll approach the historic Skeiðarárbrú, the old bridge that stands as a testament to the region’s rich history.
Continuing your ride, you’ll make your way back to the base, all while being treated to awe-inspiring views of the nearby glacier. Join us for an experience like no other!
The duration of the tour is 2 hour.
- Shared ride is price per person with two persons on each ATV
- Single ride is price per person with one person on each ATV
- The driver has to have a valid B drivers license (according to Icelandic legislation)
- Be sure you are wearing warm enough outdoor clothing and appropriate waterproof boots.
- Important to meet on location 30 minutes before departure
- The combined weight of the driver and passenger on each bike can not exceed 260 kg
It is important for you to know that we do not provide any drinks or snacks during any of our tours so please make sure you are prepared for the tour according to your personal needs in this matter. At the terminal you can buy hot or cold drinks before or after the tour.
ATV QUAD BIKE MEETING POINT: is located at Skaftafell AIR Terminal. Please be at the meeting point 30 minutes before departure time. You will find the meeting point on Google Maps here

Be sure you are wearing warm enough outdoor clothing and appropriate hiking boots.
- Glacier Adventure reserves the right to always keep a 5% payment fee to cover costs for the booking & rescheduling.
- If you must reschedule or cancel the booking, please provide us with 24-hour notice. This way we might be able to resell the seats.
- Cancellations received less than 24 hours before tour departure, will not be refunded. This includes bookings made within 24 hours before departure.
- If clients cancel their tour more than 24 hours before departure, a 95% refund will be given.
- “No Shows” will not be refunded if the client is not on time before the tour departure.
- Glacier Adventure reserves the right to cancel your trip with your safety in mind.
- With short notice, the tours can be canceled due to safety reasons or other natural conditions. In such cases, a 100% refund is provided.
Note: We don’t refund if the client is late or doesn’t show up, or if the weather is not good and the tour is still on schedule. We recommend that participants stay in a hotel or guesthouse close to Hali the night before the tour.
